My girlfriend and I entered to buy a few products. At the check out, the girl gave us a warm smile and then proceeded to pass our products through. “That will be twenty dollars” the girl said. “I would like to use some Canadian Tire money” my girlfriend stated firmly. The girl behind the counter mulled the question over. “Nice try” she said smiling. “Then what is it good for if I can’t use it?” my girlfriend asked. “I would like to see the manager”, she demanded, “But madam, we do not take Canadian Tire money here at Zellers…”
